My client, a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in South Wales, is seeking a Butchery Manager to oversee and lead the production within a fast-paced meat processing environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operations and execution of the plan, as per customer demand, adhering to health and safety on site.

You will have excellent communication and leadership skills. As a people person, you will manage, develop, and lead your teams. You will be KPI focused based on safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and people development.

Skills and experience:

  • Working within a Butchery environment
  • Short Interval Control
  • Familiar with yield measurement systems
  • Focused on continuous improvement, CI efficiencies, and LEAN processes
  • Strong communicator
  • Budgetary/financial awareness
  • Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate, and drive change from within
  • Management of team, including supervisors and operatives

Role: Days - Monday to Friday, 7am-8am start, 40-42 hours per week with flexibility as needed for the business.

Salary: Dependant on experience.
