My client, a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in South Wales, is seeking a Butchery Manager to oversee and lead the production within a fast-paced meat processing environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operations and execution of the plan, as per customer demand, adhering to health and safety on site.
Responsibilities:
- You will have excellent communication and leadership skills.
- As a ‘people person’, you will manage, develop and lead your teams.
- You will be KPI focused based on safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery and people development.
Skills and experience:
- Working within a Butchery environment.
- Short Interval Control.
- Familiar with yield measurement systems.
- Focused on continuous improvement, CI efficiencies and LEAN processes.
- Budgetary/financial awareness.
- Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within.
- Management of team, including supervisors and operatives.
Role:
- Days - Monday to Friday 7am-8am start, 40-42 hpw with flexibility as needed for the business.
- Salary dependent on experience.
