Head of Manufacturing (Factory Manager)
Mach are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to lead people teams and drive performance of a manufacturing site of a FMCG client based in the North East.
You will identify and implement key improvements and ensure consistency of approach across the production shift, and be the champion of operational standards and promote team development to achieve goals and KPIs.
Key Duties:
- \’Hands on\’ – drive performance through people
- Develop shift capabilities and improve shift performance
- Embed an ethos of Continuous Improvement
- Take full accountability for factory performance in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and Environment
- Management and control of KPIs
- Deliver on key performance indicators including; people, quality, health and safety, environment, cost optimization, customer service and project delivery
- Proactively investigate new and innovative ways of working to deliver improvement
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
- Leadership
- HACCP trained.
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing
- Proven track record of managing large teams
- ·Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
