Working on behalf of our client, a successful food manufacturer, Mach Recruitment are currently looking for a Food Safety Technologist.
You will ensure that the company meets all necessary legislative / agreed customer standards and food safety best practice guidance, through robust quality management and risk assessment approach.
Key responsibilities:
- Development of HACCP plan
- Work closely with QA and Operations teams
- Improve controls around food safety
- Actively take part in customer visits and audits
- Conduct internal audits
- Work closely with customers
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally a Degree/HND in Food Science, Technology or Science based subject
- Technical experience within food manufacturing
- Dealing with multiple retailers
