My client, a successful food manufacturer, due to strong growth, is seeking a Buyer to further support their Procurement team. You will be responsible for the supply of goods, strong organisational skills, staying within budget, and building strong supplier relationships and commercial acumen. Create opportunities to negotiate and reduce spend.
- Managing the supply of goods (Fresh Produce)
- Staying within budget and constantly working to improve the level of value achieved, without compromising quality
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Developing new strategies
- Regularly reporting to the business and key stakeholders
You will have:
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in collating and interpreting large volumes of data
- Proven experience within a Buyer role, within Food Manufacturing
- Ability to work as part of a team, yet also be a self-starter
- Drive and eagerness to make a difference and support the business
Role:
- Office based Monday - Friday
- 40 hours a week
