We are looking for Fabricator / Welders (Stainless Steel & Aluminium Pressure Vessels).
- Pay: £13.50/hour (first 3 months), then £14/hour + £80 bonus
- Overtime & Saturdays: Paid (after 40h)
- Location: Birdwell, Barnsley
- Immediate start: ASAP after interview and weld test
- Experience needed: minimum 6 months
- Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 (minimum), regular overtime available
- Employment type: PAYE only (no self-employed)
The role:
As a Fabricator / Welder you will be working within a workshop/manufacturing environment and your duties will include:
- Welding stainless steel and aluminium components
- Fabrication and welding of pressure vessels
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- TIG welding to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks on finished work
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
About you:
As a Fabricator / Welder you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience welding stainless steel and aluminium
- Experience working on pressure vessels is highly desirable
- Qualifications are not essential; experience is more important
- Ability to pass a practical weld test
- Able to start work ASAP after interview
- Reliable, punctual and looking for long-term work
- Able to travel to Birdwell, Barnsley
