Property Sales Consultant Macgregor, Edinburgh Full-time, permanent Salary: £32,000–£38,000 basic, depending on experience Bonus: performance related bonus structure Macgregor is a boutique estate agency specialising in premium homes across Edinburgh, with a particular focus on the New Town, West End and other prime residential areas. We are a growing, design-led, highly personal agency with a strong reputation for selling beautiful homes and delivering a more thoughtful, tailored service than a traditional corporate estate agency. We are now looking for an experienced, polished and commercially minded Property Sales Consultant to join the team. This is a front-line sales role. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder and wider team to conduct viewings, manage buyer relationships, qualify interest, follow up properly and help progress opportunities towards offers and successful sales. This role would suit someone with previous estate agency or strong direct sales experience who is confident dealing with buyers and sellers, comfortable picking up the phone, and able to represent a premium property brand with professionalism and discretion. You will be involved in the key part of the sales process between viewing activity and agreed offers. We are looking for someone with genuine sales ability, commercial judgement and the confidence to move conversations forward. Conduct property viewings across Edinburgh. Understand each property’s key selling points, likely buyer profile and potential objections. Match buyers with other suitable Macgregor properties. Provide clear post-viewing feedback and buyer intelligence to the team. Sales follow-up Follow up all viewings promptly and confidently, primarily by phone. Support the founder with buyer intelligence, offer preparation and negotiation strategy. Keep accurate CRM notes after every viewing and buyer conversation. Help prepare weekly vendor updates. Flag when a property requires a strategy discussion, price review or renewed buyer push. Help ensure vendors feel informed, reassured and confident throughout the sales process. Help coordinate part-time viewing support where required. Ensure viewing assistants are properly briefed on each property. Keep the founder updated on serious buyer interest and urgent opportunities. Assist with buyer outreach before and after property launches. Previous estate agency or direct sales experience. Confident telephone manner. Full UK driving licence and access to a car. Able to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate viewings. Ability to represent a premium property brand. Residential estate agency experience. Experience conducting property viewings. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management. Comfortable picking up the phone. Polished enough for prime Edinburgh property. Organised enough to manage multiple buyers and properties.
