MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a successful and expanding manufacturer and supplier of high quality slim-line aluminium roof lanterns and bi-folding doors, who have over 250,000 sq ft of manufacturing space, 200 highly skilled operatives and supply site and trade counters across the UK. Due to business expansion they have created an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and successful sales professional to join the Sales team as the Southern Business Development Manager, to develop relationships and sales with fenestration merchants and showrooms across Southern UK.

With support from an internal sales team behind you passing on leads, enquiries and supporting with appointment making, and an in-house engineering team to support customers post sale, you will develop the relationships with potential commercial customers, present the product and proposition and negotiate the terms, achieving sales growth budgets for the region.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable field based sales success within the fenestration sector is highly desirable - with experience of aluminium being an advantage
  • Excellent people, rapport and relationship building skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong commercial skills - adept at negotiating
  • Self motivated, with the drive to succeed
  • Covering a large territory travel video and telephone calls will be part of the sales process, however face to face meetings are critical, so travel will be a significant part of the role
  • A valid driving licence

Package:

  • Basic salary to £45k DOE
  • Bonus scheme (up to £10k a year on top of the basic)
  • Company car - Tesla or similar
  • 25 days annual leave, plus statutory
