MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join a leading learning and training provider based in central Leeds as a Student Experience Officer. Please note that this role is offered as a fixed term maternity cover role. The hours of work are usually 08.30-17.00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), however some flexibility is required to occasionally cover tests held on the weekends.
The role:
- To provide a welcoming presence at the front desk, welcoming and meeting students
- Provide accurate information to students, resolve queries and respond to enquiries
- Ensure all administrative tasks within the remit of Student Experience are completed efficiently such as generating class lists & updating student databases
- Set up rooms, and ensure that the offices and break-out areas are presentable
- Report and follow up on any building related issues, liaising with contractors as required
- Maintain effective working relationships with building security and management teams
- Help invigilate tests being held, help with passwords and logging on
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a customer focused environment
- Excellent people skills, with a helpful, personable and proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills face to face, telephone and written
- Experience in solving challenges at short notice
- Able to commit to fulfil the 15 month maternity cover contract
