MacGregor Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a Branch Assistant for our client who are a highly successful supplier of windows and doors to trade. Successful and solid, they are expanding and are opening a new trade counter branch in Inverness and have an opportunity for a Branch Assistant with window and door knowledge to join the team!

Branch Assistant role

  • Reporting to the Branch Manager and as part of a team of 3, you will develop relationships with customers, answer queries and deliver great customer service.
  • Process window and door quotes and orders using Evolution / Business Micros (Training will be provided).
  • Make calls to customers to follow up on quotes, to update on their orders and to confirm deliveries.
  • Support the growth of the new branch by contacting potential customers to inform them about the products and services, and to follow up on mailshots.
  • A hands-on role where you will help with the branch operations as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Specific knowledge of windows is essential, ideally with some order processing experience.
  • Previous experience of delivering customer service and making outbound calls via telephone is essential.
  • Great people skills - able to develop strong and trusting relationships with customers.
  • Proactive in approach and willing to learn new products and systems.

The Package

  • Monthly branch bonus scheme (Pays up to £750 a month depending on branch sales performance to target).
  • 5 weeks holiday plus statutory (33 days in total).
  • Monday to Friday working - no evenings or Saturday working!
