We're looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Person to join our Construction team.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Person, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our construction customers, helping them source products, prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure they receive an exceptional level of service.

Working closely with Key Account Managers, Product Specialists, Branches, Warehouse teams and suppliers, you'll play a key role in helping customers keep their projects moving.

This isn't just an order processing role—it's about building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that add value for our customers.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Building strong relationships with customers over the phone, email and in person.
  • Preparing accurate quotations and following them through to order.
  • Processing customer orders quickly and accurately.
  • Providing advice on products and solutions for construction customers.
  • Liaising with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
  • Keeping customers updated on deliveries and order progress.
  • Working with Key Account Managers to support customer growth.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell products and services.
  • Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records using our systems.

  • Ideally You'll Have
  • Experience in Internal Sales, Trade Counter, Builders Merchanting, Distribution or Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of construction products or the construction industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
  • Good IT skills and experience using business systems.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
