Do you enjoy solving problems and learning new skills? We're looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Service Technician to join our team and begin an exciting career in the automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a wage whilst gaining valuable workplace experience and nationally recognised qualifications. No experience is required – just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in vehicles.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Identify and diagnose basic faults
  • Remove, replace and refit vehicle components
  • Use specialist tools, equipment and diagnostic systems
  • Work safely and effectively in a busy workshop environment
  • Work as part of a skilled and supportive team

This apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Moray Firth Training and leads to a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 2 (SCQF Level 5). During the first two years, you'll attend Moray Firth Training for six one-week training blocks each year, where you'll develop both your practical skills and technical knowledge. Your third year will be spent primarily in the workplace, building a portfolio of evidence and demonstrating your competence through practical assessments and workplace observations.
