External Sales Representative – Construction Division

Are you great with people, love being out on the road, and have a knack for spotting opportunities?
We’re looking for a driven and dynamic External Sales Rep to join our busy Construction Division – someone who enjoys building genuine relationships and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get results.
You’ll work closely with builders, contractors, and civil engineers across the North of Scotland, becoming their go-to for construction consumables, trusted advice, and on-the-ground support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Growing sales across a wide range of construction products and tools
- Visiting customers on-site and building strong, long-term relationships
- Spotting new opportunities, following up leads, and securing new business
- Preparing and managing quotes – and turning them into sales
- Keeping in touch with existing accounts and making sure we’re always their first choice
- Staying sharp on the market – bringing back useful insights and ideas
- Flying the flag for MIS at events, trade shows, and industry demos
- Hitting sales and margin targets – and being proud of it
- Making sure everything from CRM records to customer follow-ups is kept tidy and up to date
Who We’re Looking For
- You’ve got a strong sales background (especially in construction or trades) or the drive to learn fast
- You\’re confident, people-focused, and genuinely enjoy helping customers
- You’re self-motivated, organised, and great at managing your own time
- You’re a natural problem-solver who likes getting things done
- You hold a full UK driving licence and enjoy being out and about
