Our Client is an innovative Express Distribution Company.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for finding, qualifying and presenting prospecting company data to the New Business Sales Team. You will also plan, implement, execute and monitor prospecting campaigns to feed into the sales population.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Hit agreed KPI’s set by your manager, aimed at providing set levels of qualified data to the sales team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to agree defined prospecting campaigns to meet business needs.
  • Direct communication with prospecting companies to validate and further explore information and book new business appointments.
  • Collaborate with sales individuals to agree and build targeted prospecting campaigns.
  • Use our CRM to coordinate and execute multiple campaigns.
  • Use our data mining tool to build relevant lists and uncover information to help drive a successful campaign.
  • Validate data points by both email and phone.
  • Answer incoming calls on the sales enquiry line to vet and book appointments.
  • Review, validate inbound web/email enquiries and book appointments.

Education & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience of working within the ecommerce/parcel delivery sector.
  • Use and application of relevant IT – strong skills in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sound business awareness.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to organise self.

Desirable:

  • An understanding of the eCommerce market is preferable.
  • Specialist related industry knowledge and experience is preferable.

Personal:

  • High levels of self-awareness and knows own strengths and is using them to best effect.
  • Open minded and the ability and willingness to learn.
  • Knows own weaknesses and works with them.
  • Self-motivation and a well-founded self-belief, confidence, and credibility.
