Pricing Coordinator – Tamworth – Freight Forwarding

JOB DETAILS
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to join our team in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background with experience in Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and Air Freight. This role involves working closely with the operational and CRM teams to maintain current rate cards for existing clients, ensuring timely and accurate billing. The Pricing Coordinator will play a crucial role in the potential establishment of a centralized pricing desk as part of the role development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update rate cards for existing clients to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Collaborate closely with operational and CRM teams to streamline pricing processes.
- Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Ensure all pricing data is accurately entered and maintained in the system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on pricing performance and profitability.
- Provide support and training to team members on pricing-related matters.
- Handle customer inquiries related to pricing and provide timely and accurate responses.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Commercial background with experience in FCL, LCL, and Air Freight.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
