Our client is a major player in the International Distribution Market with a large number of Branches across the UK.

The Role: As the Operations Manager within the Retail Division, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising end-to-end logistics and fulfilment operations within a fast-paced eCommerce and pallet network environment. You will take full ownership of daily operational performance across warehousing, distribution, and transport, ensuring that all customer orders are processed, handled, and delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time with the Retail Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage pallet network activities, ensuring timely collection and delivery performance
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), order accuracy, and turnaround times
  • Ensure efficient route planning and load optimisation for pallet shipments
  • Act as the main point of contact for pallet network partners and third-party carriers
  • Monitor carrier performance and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Resolve escalations related to delays, damages, or lost goods
