MacGregor Black are partnering with a growing FMCG manufacturing business on the search for a Management Accountant (Operations & Supply Chain). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to operations rather than sitting in a purely finance-led reporting role. The position offers broad exposure across production, supply chain, inventory, procurement and operational performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with finance, operations and production teams to help drive better commercial decision-making through accurate reporting, analysis and operational insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and support monthly management accounts and operational reporting
- Analyse production costs, stock movements, wastage and operational KPIs
- Investigate variances and identify opportunities for process and cost improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities
- Work closely with operational and supply chain teams across the factory
- Assist with inventory management, stock counts and warehouse controls
- Support procurement and supplier performance analysis
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Excel and ERP systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects across operations and finance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage or supply chain environments
- Background in management accounting, operational finance or supply chain analysis
- Strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Sage or similar
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with production and operational teams
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement improvements
- Part-qualified CIMA / ACCA, qualified by experience, or relevant operational finance background
