Womenswear Designer
Are you a commercially minded womenswear designer with a strong understanding of brand DNA and product handwriting?
Do you thrive in environments where process, collaboration, and design integrity are key?

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Global Brand Management group on the search for a Womenswear Designer, based in Camden.
This is a senior-level, permanent role, offering a genuine opportunity to shape a growing category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of womenswear collections from concept through to production.
- Ensure all design output reflects the brand’s identity, consumer profile, and seasonal direction.
- Conduct research across trend, fabric, and market to inform creative and commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, and Technical teams to deliver cohesive, brand-right product to critical path.
- Present seasonal concepts and collections to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a structured and methodical design process with excellent attention to detail.
- Support long-term category growth through consistency, creativity, and innovation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced womenswear designer from a brand or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial design and ability to translate trend into brand-relevant product.
- Confident working across multiple product categories with a balance of creativity and process.
- Highly organised, methodical, and comfortable working in a growing team structure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and CAD design.
- Leadership potential and the ability to support future team development.
