MacGregor Black is partnering with a FMCG manufacturing business on the search for a Head of Supply Chain. This is a PERM role based in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging and other production inputs.
Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships.
Own the end-to-end demand and supply planning process.
Develop accurate forecasts using customer, historical and commercial data.
Translate customer demand into robust procurement and production requirements.
Take overall responsibility for warehousing and inventory management.
Establish clear inventory targets and performance measures.
Lead the efficient movement of finished products from manufacturing through to customers and distribution centres.
Establish and lead a clear supply chain strategy aligned with the company's growth plans.
Introduce robust KPIs and performance reporting.
What We're Looking For:
Significant senior-level supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly complex manufacturing environment.
Proven end-to-end responsibility across procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics and customer service.
Experience supplying major retail customers and/or significant foodservice or co-manufacturing customers.
Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains and the challenges associated with short lead times, changing demand and customer service requirements.
A strong commercial understanding, including procurement, cost control and working capital.
A proven track record of improving supply chain performance.
Experience developing teams, processes and systems to support business growth.
Salary – up to £100k + package
