Are you experienced in driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced distribution environment? Do you have extensive experience in operational management within FMCG? Are you an inspirational leader who genuinely cares about their workforce? MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading FMCG business on the search for a Warehouse Manager. This is a perm role based near Solihull.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of food and FMCG products.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure proper handling and storage conditions of food and FMCG products.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve skills and maintain team motivation.
  • Coordinate and optimize transportation routes, working closely with drivers and external transport providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all transport regulations, particularly those related to food and FMCG industries.
  • Analyze transportation costs and performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve delivery efficiency.

What are we looking for?

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics management within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics teams and transportation operations.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers and external transport services.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
