MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading FMCG business on the search for a Warehouse Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in Solihull.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of food and FMCG products.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, tracking shipments, and ensuring proper handling and storage conditions of food and FMCG products.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Conducting regular training sessions to improve skills and maintain team motivation.
  • Coordinating and optimizing transportation routes, working closely with drivers and external transport providers.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics management within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics teams and transportation operations.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers and external transport services.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific best practices.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
