Are you an experienced Merchandising professional looking for an opportunity to shape commercial strategy within a premium fashion brand? Do you enjoy combining merchandising, demand planning and commercial decision making to maximise product performance? Are you at your best in a fast moving SME where you can influence inventory, pricing, product strategy and cross functional planning?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Premium Luxury Fashion brand on the search for a Merchandiser to join the business on a 12 month fixed term contract, based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial business where merchandising sits at the heart of commercial decision making. Working closely with the CFO and collaborating across Product, Design, Production, Ecommerce and Wholesale, you'll take ownership of inventory strategy, demand planning, pricing and product performance across multiple international channels. This role offers genuine influence within the business and would suit someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead demand planning and inventory management across Wholesale, Ecommerce and Retail channels.
  • Optimise stock availability through effective forecasting, allocation and replenishment planning.
  • Manage seasonal orderbooks, providing commercial recommendations around production volumes and inventory decisions.
  • Forecast fabric requirements and work closely with Finance and Production to support purchasing decisions.
  • Own and develop the business's continuity product strategy, ensuring stock levels align with commercial demand.
  • Analyse sales performance, inventory, profitability and product trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead seasonal range planning, product performance reviews and collection analysis.
  • Own pricing strategy, competitor benchmarking and markdown planning to maximise profitability.
  • Produce regular trading reports and commercial insight for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Wholesale, Design, Marketing, Production and Logistics teams to ensure merchandising plans support wider business objectives.
  • Support product lifecycle planning from concept through to commercial launch.
  • Deliver post season analysis and commercial recommendations to influence future product strategy.
What are we looking for?
  • Previous Merchandising experience within a luxury, premium or contemporary fashion brand.
  • Experience operating within a fast paced SME or growing business environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience across demand planning, inventory management and trading analysis.
  • Comfortable interpreting evolving business data to make informed commercial decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical capability with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience developing pricing, markdown and stock optimisation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and seasonal planning.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • A proactive, solutions focused individual who enjoys taking ownership and driving continuous improvement.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
