MacGregor Black are partnering with a Food Manufacturing Business on the search for a Site Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clear manufacturing leadership that drives culture and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and lead the implementation of change management initiatives, whilst leading the SLT to play its key part in the delivery excellence, impacting the wider business.
- Define and gain agreement for all budgets and forecasts, ensuring your sites delivers / beats its overall financial commitments.
- Responsibility for operational performance.
- Provide clear manufacturing objectives, vision, and leadership to the site.
- Accountable for the ongoing delivery of a strong set of KPI results for the site, including cost, safety, service, quality, gross losses and absenteeism.
- Ensure the Site has appropriate processes and systems in place to drive best practice manufacturing standards with a focus on developing and embedding LEAN manufacturing.
- Successful track record of delivery in previous team leadership roles is essential.
- Experience of leading cross-functional teams in the consumer sector with experience of high-speed production.
- Exposure to a number of different functions and evidence of being able to apply knowledge in other areas.
- Commercially astute with the ability to see the broader business context gained through experience of working with commercial functions.
- Strong influencing and communication skills to deliver results through others.
- Proven track record in developing people and teams to create high performance.
