MacGregor Black are partnering with a Food business on the search for a Site Director. This is a perm role based in East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear business objectives, vision, and leadership to the site.
- Accountable for the ongoing delivery of a strong set of KPI results for the site, including cost, safety, service, quality, gross losses and absenteeism.
- Develop and lead the implementation of target initiatives.
- Define and gain agreement for all budgets and forecasts, ensuring the Site delivers / beats its overall financial commitments.
- Ensure the Site has appropriate processes and systems in place to drive best practice manufacturing standards with a focus on developing and embedding LEAN manufacturing.
- Overall responsibility for plant performance, product quality, product functionality and product safety.
What We're Looking For:
- Successful track record of delivery in previous food manufacturing site leadership roles is essential.
- Experience of leading cross functional teams in the FMCG sector with experience of high-speed production.
- Exposure to a number of different functions and evidence of being able to apply knowledge in other areas.
- Commercially astute with the ability to see the broader business context gained through experience of working with commercial functions.
- Strong influencing and communication skills to deliver results through others.
