Are you experienced in driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? Do you have experience of leading teams or shifts within FMCG manufacturing? Are you an organised leader with people and process at the forefront of your mind?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading food business on the search for a Shift Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency.
- Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all site Health and Safety Regulations.
- Execute the shift training plan to improve performance/flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required.
- Being responsible for the management and development of Team Leaders and colleagues.
- Leading your shift on all food safety, health & safety and quality standards adherence.
- Taking the lead on your shift for customer visits and audits, ensuring effective planning, co-ordination and delivery.
- Help to implement continuous improvement initiatives across a range of areas.
- Minimum 3 years managing teams within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc.
- Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and 'raising the bar'.
- Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements.
- Experience of continuous improvement in a production environment of implementing change through effective management.
- Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind.
- Must be people orientated.
- A proven track record of close working relationships with all operational functions and an appreciation of what each function is required to achieve to execute the plan.
- Experience of CI within FMCG.
