Senior People and Culture Manager

MacGregor Black is partnering with a Leading Food Business on the search for a Senior People and Culture Business Partner. This is a perm role based in Cambridgeshire.
We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to lead the HR function across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a senior operational leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering people strategies that drive business performance, employee engagement, and a high-performing culture. We are looking for a strategic partner and change agent, building and delivering the people capability needed to meet the requirements of our customers, our people, and our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support operational excellence.
- Oversee the HR function across multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring consistency and alignment of people practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Lead and develop a large, geographically dispersed HR team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Champion a people-centric culture, driving initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention.
- Lead change initiatives and support leadership teams in navigating organisational transformation.
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and systems are efficient, scalable, and legally compliant.
- Oversee performance management frameworks and reward strategies to drive motivation and productivity.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to promote a safe and inclusive working environment.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a senior HR/People & Culture leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong track record of multi-site HR management with the ability to lead a large, dispersed team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute people strategies that align with business objectives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience driving cultural change, engagement, and leadership development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
- A degree in HR, Business, or a related field; CIPD or equivalent qualification preferred.
