Are you an experienced Quality Manager within the food industry looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have experience of leading quality audits with major UK food retailers? Are you a strong communicator, who builds lasting relationships?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Food Manufacturer on the search for a Quality Manager. This is a perm role based in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the site quality team, conduct training, performance reviews, establish and implement development plans with direct reports, assure succession plans and talent development.
  • Lead the implementation and development of the Quality Assurance programs for all food products and deliver Quality KPI performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements (food safety, certifications, hygiene, supplier approval programs).
  • Responsible for delivery of customer experience KPI’s, complex customer quality complaint analysis, implement corrective action plans to achieve sustainable solutions and effectively organize and conduct customer audits on site.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Degree in relevant field, lead auditor.
  • Long-term experience in food manufacturing operations, in a Quality Assurance or technical role with team leadership skills.
  • Expert in food safety and food risk management systems.
  • Significant food industry knowledge - food processing and food law.
  • Able to work across cultural dimensions, good influencer.
  • Excellent communication - verbal and written.
  • Strong leader and motivator of own team but also across other departments and sites.
