Are you experienced in ensuring retail customers receive goods on time and in full?

MacGregor Black are partnering with an FMCG manufacturing business on the search for a Production Planner. This is a perm role based in North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all products produced and dispatched are compliant with Food Safety Regulations
  • Ensuring that all activities managed in line with external audit standards (BRC) and or customer specifications
  • Taking a pro-active approach to product quality and good manufacturing practice.
  • Develop and maintain effective production plans that ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time, in full, and to the required quality standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage changing production requirements and customer demand.
  • Good understanding of production planning, stock control, capacity planning, and scheduling within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate planning data, reports, schedules, and system records.
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively with production, supply chain, procurement, technical, despatch, and commercial teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly to production issues, material shortages, capacity constraints, or changes in customer demand.
  • IT literate, with good Excel skills and experience using planning, ERP, MRP, or stock management systems.

Salary up to £45k + package
