We’re partnering with a busy organisation to find a skilled Payroll Specialist who will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 500 employees. This is a fixed-term, hybrid role based in Milton Keynes.
Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you’ll help clear backlogs, manage day-to-day payroll activities, and support staff with payroll-related queries. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, efficiency, and discretion are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for approximately 537 staff.
- Support the Payroll Manager with daily payroll tasks and backlog clearance.
- Maintain accurate employee data and payroll records.
- Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
- Previous payroll experience, ideally supporting 300+ employees.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of payroll systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
