Are you producing month end management accounts and looking for broader exposure across reporting, audit and business partnering? MacGregor Black are partnering with a high growth, consumer led business on the search for a Financial Reporting Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a commercially driven finance team where you will play a key role in delivering high quality reporting, supporting decision making and strengthening financial control.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of core reporting processes while gaining exposure to systems, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Prepare flash reporting and provide meaningful variance analysis to support decision making.
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations across accruals, prepayments and provisions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to review departmental costs and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with audit processes, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Support ongoing development of reporting tools, including ERP and BI systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.

Experience within financial reporting, management accounting or a similar finance role. Strong technical grounding in accounting principles and financial controls. Confident producing or supporting full monthly management accounts. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. Clear communicator, able to translate financial data into meaningful insight. Ideally part qualified or qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA). Exposure to BI tools or systems implementation would be advantageous.
