A leading UK-based outdoor clothing and equipment company is seeking a UK Marketing Manager to join the team on a fixed-term contract (up to 18 months) to cover maternity leave.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the UK marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with global direction while driving brand awareness, sell-through, and market share across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal UK marketing plans aligned with global strategy across all categories, channels, media, and events
- Create and implement regional marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and support sales across retail and digital environments
- Ensure strong brand representation across all touchpoints including in-store, online, email, social, and marketing materials
- Lead and deliver brand-sponsored events (B2B and consumer), ensuring cross-functional alignment
- Manage and track the annual marketing budget, including forecasting, reporting, and ROI analysis
- Execute co-operative marketing activity with key accounts, ensuring effective spend and measurable outcomes
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across trade and consumer channels in line with brand strategy
- Manage regional PR activity in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies
- Work closely with sales teams to plan and execute retail initiatives, including shop-in-shop concepts and in-store activations
- Attend trade and consumer events as required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in brand and/or trade marketing
- Strong experience developing and delivering strategic marketing plans
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail, particularly in budget planning and management
- Creative thinker with a strong commercial mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Results-driven with the ability to drive engagement and performance
- Flexible, proactive, and professional attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends
- Experience within the outdoor or sports industry
