- Oversee VAT compliance and reconciliations, including relevant international and cross-border requirements.
- Support corporate tax compliance, tax computations and statutory reporting, liaising with external advisers where required.
- Maintain appropriate tax controls, monitor legislative changes and identify potential risks.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Contribute to wider financial accounting activities, process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, with a strong tax background.
- Relevant tax experience gained in practice, industry or a combination of both.
- Good knowledge of tax compliance, with VAT and indirect tax experience particularly valuable.
- Exposure to corporate tax, statutory reporting and international tax matters would be advantageous.
- An understanding of management accounts and financial accounting, with the flexibility to work across a broad finance remit.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
