MacGregor Black are partnering with a highly successful, internationally recognised organisation on the search for a Senior People Business Partner. This is a permanent role based in Central London.
Operating as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, you will align the People strategy with wider organisational priorities across a significant and complex business area. This is a highly influential role encompassing:
- Organisational design
- Transformation
- Strategic workforce planning
- Talent and succession
- Leadership capability and performance
You will also provide leadership and guidance to other People Business Partners while contributing to the continued development of the wider People function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building trusted relationships with senior leaders, providing constructive challenge, coaching and commercially focused people advice.
- Translating business strategy into clear people plans that address current priorities and future organisational requirements.
- Leading and supporting organisational design, transformation and change programmes.
- Using people, operational and financial data to identify trends, anticipate risks and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Partnering with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability and embed a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Leading talent and succession reviews, identifying critical roles, retention risks and future leadership requirements.
- Working closely with Talent Acquisition on senior appointments, talent mapping and the development of critical talent pipelines.
- Supporting the effective delivery of performance, objective-setting, compensation and annual review processes.
- Partnering with Employee Relations colleagues on complex organisational and leadership changes.
- Collaborating with specialist People teams across Talent, Reward, Employee Relations and People Services to improve the employee experience.
- Providing leadership, coaching and support to People Business Partners and acting as a role model across the wider People function.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience operating in a senior HR Business Partner or People Business Partner capacity.
- A strong track record of partnering with executive or senior leadership teams.
- Experience leading HR transformation and supporting significant organisational change.
- Strong organisational design, workforce planning and talent management experience.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and an understanding of how people decisions affect business and financial performance.
- Confidence using people analytics, financial information and external insight to support decision-making.
- Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience gained within a complex, fast-moving or performance-led organisation.
