Have you successfully managed major High Street retail accounts within FMCG, Beauty or Consumer Goods, delivering sustainable sales growth and strong commercial performance? Do you have experience leading JBPs, owning customer relationships and driving profitable growth across key UK retail partners? Have you operated in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where you can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution?
This is a commercially critical role responsible for leading one of the business’s priority retail channels, owning key customer relationships and driving profitable growth across a portfolio of established personal care brands.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the commercial performance and P&L of the High Street channel, including sales, trade spend, customer investment and profitability.
- Lead annual Joint Business Planning processes and commercial negotiations with key retail partners.
- Develop and execute channel strategies that align brand ambition with retailer priorities and market opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary commercial lead across key accounts.
- Drive distribution gains, improve shelf presence and expand SKU penetration within existing retailers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams to deliver aligned commercial execution.
- Shape and deliver compelling customer sell-in stories using data, insights and channel trends.
- Own the shopper marketing and activation calendar for the channel, ensuring excellence both in-store and online.
- Monitor customer, competitor and market performance to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to forecasting, demand planning and broader commercial decision-making processes.
- Proven experience within FMCG, Consumer Goods or Beauty in a commercial or account leadership role.
- Strong track record managing major UK High Street retailers such as Boots or Superdrug.
- Experience leading JBPs, commercial negotiations and customer growth strategies.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership or significant exposure to commercial financial management.
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, trade investment and promotional planning.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, entrepreneurial and cross-functional environments.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and drive immediate impact.
- Strong relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Data-led and insight-driven approach to decision making.
- Resilient, proactive and solutions focused mindset.
- Experience within Beauty, Personal Care or Haircare would be advantageous.
