Are you UK-based and ready to step into a high-ownership role with genuine scope to shape a brand's future? MacGregor Black are partnering with a well-established premium consumer brand on the search for a Global Head of Marketing. This role is based in the United Kingdom with regular London office presence.

As the Global Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the brand and bringing it to life across international markets. This is a builder's role: you will shape the narrative, test and refine it in market, and grow it through a small, commercially focused team - balancing long-term brand equity with near-term commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the global brand and communications strategy, ensuring it is tightly aligned to commercial objectives and growth ambitions across priority markets.
  • Build and deliver annual marketing plans that are locally relevant, globally consistent, and held to clear performance standards.
  • Take accountability for the end-to-end consumer experience, connecting every touchpoint into a coherent omnichannel journey.
  • Lead digital marketing output across content creation, social platforms, influencer activity, automation, and direct consumer engagement.
  • Develop trade and retail marketing programmes that improve brand presence at the point of purchase and support sell-through.
  • Drive go-to-market execution for new product launches, coordinating across consumer and trade channels for maximum impact.
  • Draw on consumer research, competitive intelligence, and marketing analytics to sharpen strategy and improve return on spend.
  • Bring forward new technologies and digital innovations including AI-driven approaches.
  • Build and develop the marketing team, setting high standards.
  • Take ownership of the marketing budget and manage the external agency roster with a clear focus on efficiency and output quality.
What are we looking for?
  • A senior brand marketer with 8–12 years of experience built within international, consumer-facing businesses.
  • A strong record of brand-building at a strategic level, backed by hands-on expertise in digital, retail, and consumer engagement marketing.
  • Experience taking brands and products into new international markets, with an understanding of what it takes to land effectively across different regions.
  • The ability to move between big-picture strategy and ground-level execution.
  • A solid grasp of omnichannel consumer behaviour and how modern marketing disciplines connect across the full purchase journey.
  • A background working with premium or lifestyle brands.
  • Confidence working in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being established and adaptability is essential.
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of developing teams and bringing stakeholders along across functions and geographies.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.
