Do you have experience working in European and Middle Eastern markets? Do you have experience managing international distributors? Do you have significant experience within the consumer goods space? MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Consumer Brand on the search for a European Sales Manager. This is a permanent/remote role.
As the International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of the sales across territories outside of the UK, in their international distribution network, as well as the onboarding of new business partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Accountable for delivery of sales against target as well as reporting sales forecasts to key internal stakeholders.
- Delivery of sales KPIs as defined by the VP International Sales.
- Selling products into existing and finding potential new distribution channels.
- Implementation of NPD into sales channels.
- Ensure margins and profitability are maintained through a detailed understanding of business objectives.
- Create and implement annual plans and strategy with distribution partners to ensure longevity and success with a value added approach.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new international distribution partners in strategic territories outside of the UK.
- Work closely with our regulatory and operational teams to ensure smooth market launches in new territories.
- Work collaboratively with our marketing team to ensure distribution partners are set up for success and campaigns are delivered in line with our brand guidelines.
- Ensure all accounts are professionally managed at all times, providing excellent customer service.
- Feedback market and competitor information into the business.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of sales events.
- Communicate the business’ values and vision.
- Contribute to developing excellent, sustainable business relationships.
- Experience within International Distribution through FMCG, Outdoor, Consumer Electronics and/or DIY Channels would be ideal but not essential.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and natural sales ability.
- Can do attitude, ownership of tasks start to finish, outside the box thinking.
- Self-motivated & enthusiastic with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel as the business requires.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
