Do you have experience accelerating consumer-led growth across multiple European markets within FMCG? Are you confident influencing and challenging distributor partners to deliver against consumer KPIs? Are you highly analytical, commercially sharp, and motivated by autonomy, pace and ownership?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a global FMCG consumer brand to appoint an International Sales & Marketing Manager – Europe. This is a 100% B2C role, delivered through a distributor model, with responsibility for driving brand growth, marketing activation and commercial performance across a European cluster. This is not a B2B, export or traditional sales role. Execution is delivered via distributors, but strategy is entirely consumer-driven. This is a growth and acceleration position, not a maintenance role.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multi-market consumer strategy, combining marketing leadership with strong commercial and numerical capability.
Key Responsibilities:- Building market-specific commercial and marketing plans
- Leading regular performance touchpoints with distributor partners
- Driving promotional strategy, NPD prioritisation and ROI
- Analysing consumer, category and financial data to shape decisions
- Holding partners accountable through structured planning and reporting
- Localising global campaigns and challenging when plans are not fit for market
- Ensuring brand consistency and activation quality across markets
- Managing artwork development, message hierarchy and claims approval
- Leading social and digital activation via agencies
- Owning and tightly managing marketing budgets
- Presenting insight-led recommendations to senior leadership
- Acting as the internal expert on distributor performance and category dynamics
- FMCG B2C brand or marketing background
- Experience working across multiple markets or complex distributor models
- Strong commercial and numerical capability — confident with KPIs, ROI and financial levers
- Proven ability to influence and challenge teams you do not directly manage
- Comfortable operating with tight marketing budgets
- Autonomous, proactive and resilient
