MacGregor Black are delighted to be partnering with a Logistics and Manufacturing business in their search for a HR Advisor. This is a permanent, on-site role based in the West Midlands.

We’re seeking a proactive and confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys being close to the operation. You’ll work as part of an experienced HR team, supporting a large manufacturing site and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality people practices.

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee relations, managing complex cases from investigation through to resolution in line with policy and best practice.
  • Partner with line managers to build capability, providing coaching and advice on performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Support the HR Manager with wider site initiatives, including engagement, wellbeing, and organisational development projects.
  • Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices are applied consistently and meet legislative requirements.
  • Assist in workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding, ensuring smooth integration of new colleagues.
  • Contribute to HR data reporting, identifying trends and recommending actions for improvement.
  • Support and guide junior HR team members, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Has solid HR generalist experience, ideally gained within manufacturing, FMCG, or another fast-paced operational environment. Demonstrates strong employee relations expertise, with the ability to manage complex and sensitive cases confidently. Has strong communication and organisational skills, with a passion for delivering a first-class HR service.
