MB is partnering with a Global Beverage Manufacturing business to appoint a highly strategic and commercially minded HR Business Partner to lead the UK people agenda. This pivotal role acts as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team, shaping the HR strategy to support business growth, organisational effectiveness, and an engaging, high‑performance culture. The HR Business Partner will lead the full UK HR function, driving both operational excellence and strategic initiatives. The role provides autonomy and influence, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure people strategy aligns with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to the leadership team, providing guidance across all areas of HR
- Own and manage labour cost reporting to support planning and financial control
- Lead core HR cycles including performance management, annual salary review, benchmarking and talent management
- Support and deliver organisational change programmes and engagement initiatives
- Execute global training and development plans locally and localise global HR policies
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Leverage HR metrics and people analytics to inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Foster strong collaboration across the organisation to ensure consistent communication and partnership
- Champion company culture and values, enhancing employee experience and organisational effectiveness
- Maintain strict confidentiality while managing sensitive cases tactfully and professionally
- Partner with an external provider to manage payroll and associated statutory/benefits administration, providing employee support where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years’ HR generalist experience, including significant time as an HR Business Partner – ideally within FMCG or a fast‑paced consumer environment
- High level of commercial and business acumen with the confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders
- Proven experience delivering people initiatives and HR service line processes, with a track record of change enablement
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple functions and levels
- Exceptional communication, planning and decision‑making ability
- High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Collaborative, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a “can‑do” approach
