Looking to work on market-leading brands within the health & wellness space? MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading international FMCG business on the search for a Brand Manager. Our client is a global leader within the better-for-you food and beverage category, with a portfolio of trusted, category-leading brands enjoyed by millions of consumers worldwide. In the UK & Ireland, the business represents two highly recognisable brands operating within the growing sugar alternatives and natural sweeteners market. The organisation combines entrepreneurial agility with the backing of an international group, offering both autonomy and scale.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, the Brand Manager will lead brand execution, innovation and insight-driven growth across the UK & Ireland market. This is a commercially focused brand role, working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure strategy is retailer-ready, performance-led and grounded in data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of annual brand plans across the UK & Ireland.
  • Analyse market data (Nielsen/Circana, retailer EPOS and competitor activity) to identify growth drivers, risks and innovation opportunities.
  • Deliver performance dashboards and actionable insights to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales to support range reviews, retailer presentations and new listing opportunities.
  • Develop compelling, insight-led retailer decks and category narratives.
  • Own the end-to-end NPD process from concept through to launch.
  • Translate consumer and category insights into commercially viable innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Sales) to deliver projects on time and in budget.
  • Lead packaging updates, claims development and artwork changes.
  • Work with creative, social and e-commerce agencies to deliver engaging UK-focused content.
  • Manage marketing budgets including PO raising, tracking and reconciliation.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy of brand assets across digital and retail platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years’ experience within FMCG brand or category marketing.
  • Strong analytical capability with working knowledge of Nielsen, Circana or similar data tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering NPD from concept to launch.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to translate insight into growth.
  • Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong digital, social and e-commerce marketing understanding.
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capability (Excel & PowerPoint essential).
