We are delighted to partner with a leading privately-owned drinks company to find a Finance Director to join their team on a permanent basis in London. As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the financial operations of the company and ensuring the business meets its financial objectives during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and development to ensure high performance and a collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring they are aligned with the business objectives.
- Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for the Board of Directors, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proactively monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and efficient working capital utilisation.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the business is protected in all financial aspects.
- Work closely with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance and strategy effectively.
- Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
What are we looking for?
- Proven Experience : Extensive experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the drinks industry or a similar sector. Experience within start-up or PE-backed businesses is highly advantageous.
- Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Commercial Acumen : Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights that drive business performance.
- Excellent Communication : Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial challenges.
