MacGregor Black are partnering with an exciting and fast-growing premium consumer brand to recruit a hands-on Financial Controller on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with founders in entrepreneurial SME environments.

The Role

  • Take full ownership of the finance function and act as the go-to finance person within the business, supporting leadership with clear financial visibility and commercial insight.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Forecasting, budgeting & cashflow management
  • Financial reporting & KPI analysis
  • Managing all day-to-day finance operations
  • Improving reporting processes & controls
  • Supporting commercial decision making
  • Liaising with external accountants & stakeholders

About You

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience within SMEs or founder-led businesses
  • Strong management accounts & forecasting capability
  • Comfortable operating in a standalone finance role
  • Hands-on, commercial and proactive approach
  • FMCG / Food & Drink experience highly advantageous
