Have you got proven experience leading warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment? Do you have a strong background in managing and developing multidisciplinary teams to deliver operational excellence? Can you effectively drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance?

This is a full-time position which is permanent, based in the Midlands. As Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations across the warehouse and manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless coordination between warehousing, logistics, production, and supply chain functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence — leading teams, optimising processes, and delivering results across goods in/out, inventory control, and production. This role calls for a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with practical problem-solving, fostering efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee management of warehouse operations, including goods in/out, inventory control, and storage efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and operations staff to drive performance and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Buying Team to ensure accurate stock levels, timely procurement, and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Work with Sales Team to ensure that national account orders are processed according to customer requirements and despatched in a timely manner.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, health & safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety, environmental and legal regulations.
  • Play a key role in strategic planning and operational development as the business continues to grow.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a similar operations leadership role, ideally within warehousing, logistics, or light manufacturing.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (preferably Microsoft Business Central/NAV) and lean operational principles.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience working cross-functionally with procurement or buying teams.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results.
  • Full UK driving licence.
