Are you a people-first leader who loves being out in the field? Do you thrive on driving performance across multiple sites while raising standards? Are you looking for a role where you can own a region end-to-end and make visible impact fast? MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading UK, high-growth retail business on the search for a Regional Retail Manager. This is a perm role, covering a very large territory on the South Coast.

We are seeking a commercially driven Regional Retail Manager to lead and develop a multi-site operation across the South Coast. You will be accountable for performance delivery across your area, ensuring consistent operational standards, exceptional customer experience, and strong people leadership. This role combines hands-on field leadership with commercial accountability — driving sales, margin and KPI performance while coaching managers, improving capability, and embedding a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver regional KPIs (sales, margin, labour, service, compliance and customer metrics).
  • Build and execute regional plans to deliver sustainable growth and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse performance trends, identify risks/opportunities, and implement corrective actions quickly.
  • Ensure strong forecasting, budgeting and cost control across the region.
  • Lead, coach and develop Site/Store/Area Managers to build capability and succession.
  • Drive engagement, performance management, and high standards of accountability.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and retention; build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Create a culture of consistent communication, ownership, and results.
  • Ensure excellent day-to-day execution across sites, with consistent brand and operational standards.
  • Drive compliance across H&S, audit, policies and procedures.
  • Lead improvements in operating rhythm, routines, and best practice sharing across the region.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset and ensure service standards are delivered consistently.
  • Monitor feedback, complaints and NPS/service measures, using insight to improve experience.
  • Partner with central functions (Ops, HR, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain) to deliver initiatives.
  • Lead regional rollout of new launches, projects and process changes with strong adoption.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Regional/Area Manager (or strong multi-site Operations Manager ready to step up).
  • Strong track record of delivering commercial KPIs across multiple locations.
  • Confident using data to diagnose performance and drive actionable improvements.
  • Excellent people leadership skills: coaching, influencing, performance management and engagement.
  • Comfortable being highly visible in the field, balancing hands-on support with accountability.
  • Strong operational and compliance mindset; consistent standards setter.
  • Organised, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities across a region.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within region.

Salary: £60,000 + car
