Do you enjoy owning the full eCommerce trading cycle – from onsite optimisation to acquisition and retention strategy? Are you motivated by driving measurable growth within a fast-evolving, category-leading consumer goods brand?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a high-growth, category-leading consumer goods business on the search for a Digital Growth Manager. This is a permanent opportunity based in North Yorkshire, operating on a hybrid working model. Reporting into the senior digital leadership team, this position will play a pivotal role in accelerating DTC revenue growth and enhancing overall digital performance.
The Digital Growth Manager will take ownership of the brand’s eCommerce ecosystem and core performance channels, balancing day-to-day trading execution with longer-term optimisation and innovation initiatives. The majority of focus will centre on trading, acquisition and retention performance, with additional scope dedicated to strategic growth projects and platform enhancements. This is a hands-on role requiring both commercial rigour and creative thinking — someone equally comfortable analysing performance metrics as they are shaping campaign concepts and customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the day-to-day trading performance of the DTC website, ensuring a seamless, conversion-led and brand-aligned user experience.
- Manage merchandising, promotional execution, pricing updates and onsite optimisation in line with the commercial calendar.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure campaign plans are effectively translated into digital execution.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to align digital trading activity with inventory strategy and fulfilment capabilities.
- Manage third-party development partners to deliver platform improvements, UX enhancements and technical optimisation projects.
- Lead paid acquisition strategy across key digital channels in partnership with specialist agencies, driving revenue growth and return on ad spend.
- Oversee creative testing frameworks, leveraging audience insight and performance data to optimise messaging and formats.
- Own CRM strategy including lifecycle journeys, campaign planning, segmentation and retention initiatives to drive repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate on integrated campaign planning to ensure cohesive execution across paid, owned and partner channels.
- Manage paid search and retail media activity across selected partner platforms, optimising investment for incremental return.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and scalable growth levers beyond core performance channels.
- Develop commercial cases to secure resource and budget for incremental initiatives.
- Lead continuous CRO testing, personalisation and customer journey improvements.
- Monitor and report on core KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, traffic quality, acquisition costs and retention metrics.
- Translate data into actionable insights that inform trading decisions and future investment.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to refine digital strategy and positioning.
- Manage channel budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation aligned to performance outcomes.
- Enhance internal processes, briefing standards and ways of working to support scalable growth.
- Demonstrable experience managing Shopify (or comparable eCommerce platforms) within a B2C/DTC environment.
- Proven track record delivering measurable DTC growth across Paid Social, PPC and CRM.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and influence decision-making.
- Experience managing agencies and collaborating across brand, marketing and operational stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Brand-aware with an appreciation for maintaining consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Experience within a scaling SME or growth-stage consumer brand environment is advantageous.
