Have you led high-performing commercial teams within FMCG or Consumer Goods to deliver sustained sales growth, margin improvement and market share expansion? Do you have strong P&L ownership experience alongside a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, customer-led environments? Have you played a key role in shaping commercial strategy, including S&OP, budgeting, pricing and broader business transformation at a senior level?
This is a commercially critical leadership role responsible for driving the UK grocery channel strategy, owning major retailer relationships, and delivering sustainable growth across sales, margin and market share within a portfolio of established personal care brands.
Key Responsibilities:- In close collaboration with internal teams, drive the achievement of commercial KPIs including sales growth, margin performance, market share and customer engagement.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing commercial team within the grocery channel, fostering a culture of accountability and delivery.
- Own and optimise channel P&L performance, ensuring effective investment of trade spend and commercial returns.
- Act as a senior commercial lead in shaping and executing customer business plans across major grocery accounts.
- Lead annual JBP negotiations, pricing strategy and trade term discussions with key retail partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Drive promotional strategy, range reviews and online channel growth to maximise commercial performance.
- Provide insight-led analysis of customer, competitor and market performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Contribute to broader business planning processes including S&OP, budgeting and pricing strategy.
- Represent the business in senior customer engagements and external stakeholder forums.
- Proven experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods or Beauty within a senior commercial or account leadership role.
- Strong track record managing major UK grocery retailers and delivering against commercial KPIs.
- Experience leading JBPs, pricing negotiations and customer strategy development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen with a data-led approach to decision making.
- Comfortable operating in cross-functional, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term growth with short-term delivery.
