Mac Gregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Development Technologist.
This is a permanent role based in Somerset.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the NPD concept and recipe development stage, working closely with customers to fully understand the brief.
- Managing kitchen equipment, ingredients and stock to enable sample preparation for customer submission.
- Building and maintaining new product files, including initial project and EPD information.
- Ensuring recipes meet customer codes of practice and nutritional targets.
- Supporting complaint investigations where formulation may be a contributing factor. What are we looking for?
- A food-related qualification or degree, plus at least 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- HACCP L2/3 qualified or working towards it.
