We're hiring for a reliable and professional delivery driver to join our local logistics team based in Sudbury, working on a part-time (3 day a week) basis. This is a permanent contract of employment.
The Role:
We're urgently seeking an experienced multi-drop delivery driver to join our logistics team at the Sudbury Regional Distribution Centre. This is a part-time role working fixed full days of every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, covering regional deliveries across the immediate region (driving a Transit curtain-sided van). As part of our close-knit team, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries to our customers. While this is primarily a daily driving role, there may be some odd occasions where you'll also assist in the warehouse to provide cover if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regional multi-drop deliveries using a 3.5T Ford Transit curtain-sided van
- Complete daily vehicle checks, and weekly records as required
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
- Manage relevant delivery and collection paperwork (customers, suppliers, internal)
- Liaise with office and sales colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Assist in the warehouse with picking, loading/unloading and general support
What You Bring
- Must reside within a reasonable/short commute to our Sudbury site.
- A full, valid driving licence (permitting you to drive a 3.5T vehicle)
- Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries
- Good knowledge of the local roads network (helpful for route planning)
- A reliable team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to follow instructions
- Polite, professional, and customer-focused at all times
