Your Role: Sales Coordinator
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in underpinning our sales success. You'll be the first point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring smooth order progression and exceptional service. Working closely with our Sales Executives, you'll manage enquiries, process orders, and proactively revive lapsed accounts. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will help maintain our high standards and drive operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting sales growth by managing and streamlining order progression and customer communications.
- Using our CRM system (MS Dynamics) to track leads, update customer records, and monitor sales activity.
- Proactively contacting lapsed or underutilised accounts to unlock opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
- Collaborating with Sales Executives, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Handling customer enquiries and processing orders with precision to maintain service excellence.
What We're Looking For:
You'll be an organized and proactive professional with a knack for sales support. We're looking for someone who can keep the wheels turning and add value to our team by ensuring every customer interaction is top-notch. Specifically, we'd love to see:
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a sales coordination, administration, or support role.
- Proven track record in handling customer enquiries and outbound calls in a phone-based environment.
- You will live within no more than a 30-minute commute time of our site in Tilehurst.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a friendly, professional manner.
- Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous).
- Familiarity with the packaging or distribution sector is a plus.
