Location: Deerdykes, Cumbernauld

Salary: Basic salary £30,000-£33,000 (or pro-rata equivalent if part time)

Hours: Part time: 16-24 per week across 2-3 days or Full time: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team (on both full and part time basis)...

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Key Duties
  • Trunking to various Pitreavie sites and customers across Scotland
  • Drive Company HGV, and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation
  • Provide support to Warehouse Team with loading of vehicle and securing loads safely
  • Provide a safe and professional HGV driving service for collection / delivery of goods
  • Report any issues that impact deliveries and collections in a timely manner
  • Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks ensuring any defects are reported prior to operating vehicle
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
HGV Class 1 Drivers - Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • Candidates must hold a LGV Class 1 Driver License (minimum 2 years)
  • Candidates must hold a digital and CPC Card (up to date)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to function well as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail and attention to safety
  • Experience in a similar environment is desirable
  • FLT License preferred but not essential
